After 4 years engineering studies Manuel started his career as a Lighting Designer for Stages & Theaters in Vienna with clients like Disney, PRG, Raimund Theater or the Vienna State Opera. Shortly after Vienna Manuel moved to L.A. to work as a consultant for Disney imagineering  for large format projections and Lighting Operator for Paramount Pictures. All those experiences with light and stage weren´t enough for him, he decided to use this knowledge to become a DoP. Manuel returned to Europe and moved to Munich. He started his work as a DOP in 2004. Today he already has more than 100 tvcs, corporate movies and music videos on his back for clients like Douglas Parfumerie, BMW, AUDI, Pantene, Fujitsu, McDonalds, Europapark, Rolf Benz - MAN, Neoplan etc. He worked with Directors like Renato Novakovic, Jan Bonny, Bernd Katzmarcyk, Tobias Müller, Phillip J. Pamer, Tom Bohn, Denis Satin, etc. Manuel believes that the technique has to be sufficiently skillful to hide the fabrication of reality from the audience and create motion pictures and tvcs which moves the audience emotionally.
