Gero began his career as photographer and 1st AD but always had his eye on directing. He first made the jump with award-winning music videos and documentaries before turning to directing commercials. His approach to story telling is driven consistently by careful casting, sensitive staging and lively characters. Clever humor, visual effects, action sequences and high-speed photography are some of the recurring elements in Geros’ very cinematographic films. He loves a film with a strong concept and his passion for the creative process has resulted in successful commercials for esteemed brands like American Express, Nike, Subaru, Samsung and Panasonic.
